One day may seem insignificant in the grand scheme of life, but when you are a military wife and your husband is overseas, you are probably cursing the fact that the earth revolutions around the sun aren't the nice round number we need them to be in order to NOT have to tack an extra day onto February. (I'm really good at run on sentences when I'm venting.) One day is 24 hours. And Leap Day has added an extra 24 hours onto my count down calendar. By the time my hubby gets home it will have been 20 months since we've actually lived together. 12 months since he has seen the boys and 5 months since I last saw him. And here we go tacking on an extra day! Grrrrrr...
